Get a second volume pedal and run the 9V into it. Assuming the frostwave has 
separate inputs for signal and CV, you can just run the signal to it from the 
pedal board and use a seperate volume pedal with a DC voltage going into it 
to control the frostwave's CV input. Physically put the volume pedal on the 
pedal board if you like..
