[sdiy] Did someone Hack Google?

Y-ellow All.
OK. I walked the dog and it's fixed now. Since I've never been to
double click and only read about them in register articles I can't see how
it would have caught in my cache. Especially considering it had google's
URL. Further, a trace on google turned up double click. So obviously
someone's DNS server closer to home had screwed up. Most likely Telstra had
a hand in that. But if one were to do a google search through netscape.com
it worked fine. Which probably stands to reason since the DNS would be
coming from their DNS server and not something in my own path.

But given the proliferation of URL spoofs out there now, it's also possible
it was a DNS/web prank. And though I'm better protected than most, these
things are still a major concern. Which might serve as a bit of a wake up
call for others here perhaps.

Anyway, Whatever it was, it's fixed now.

Thanks all.

Be absolutely Icebox.
