Well, the ISP I use to host my site has pretty much any/everything that I
could ever wish for.  Go read their website: http://www.arachsys.com

I know the guys that run it (and for those _REALLY_ in the know, there
_IS_ a synth connection ;-) and basically its Linux (Debian) boxes running
Apache, provides a Unix shell account, and basically run _any_[1] software
I need!  So, I could host a MySQL or PostgreSQL database, with a web
frontend driven by PHP and/or Java Servlet or JSPs (and they have a rack
of servers just for running Java servlets).

I might not have too much time to devote to it (it being PhD write-up
year), but maybe a few of us who know this stuff can work together to get
it going?

Of course, first we gotta ask you all what you want...!  Then we decide
what you GET!!!
