[sdiy] Silly Stompbox Question

Thanks to all who responded to this one :)
Was a bit worried as trying to cover 5mV to 1V level for the input range
didn't seem to work.
I now go for the 250mV to 1V peak and 50mV to 200mV as the average level.
Variation of only a factor 4, should be not too bad to handle.

When I design stuff for guitar I usually assume a 250mV to 1V signal range.
 Use a very high input impedence (1M or more) to avoid loading passive
pickups.
