Has a similar event... it was a 50KHz bias oscillator in a tube based
tape deck... I was touching one pin on the board (amplitude was about 150V)
so I didn't feel any shock... but I smelled flesh burning, and moved my hand
to
fine a neat hole drilled deep into my finger...
... which took foreber to heal (being a burn, not a cut)
