I wouldn't wish cheap 1/4" connectors on anyone...they fail at the most
inopportune times!  If you really want to try it, All Electronics have had
some in stock in the past...I wish I'd saved my money.

If you want cheap & relatively hassle free cables, get the multicolored
packs of Hosa cables...they come in bunches of 6 or 10...they're less
expensive than the cheapo DIY route.
