[sdiy] Power Supply ???

Dear Friends,
    I'm building a supply for six Paia 4700 modules.  I need +18v, +/-9v, and
+/-5v.  I have all the necessary three-terminal regulators, but my question is
this: given a hefty enough transformer, can I just hang the regulators in
parallel off  the full wave bridge and filter caps, or will this put to much
strain on them?  I'm sure all six modules will come in way under an amp of
current consumption.  Any design advice appreciated.
