Yes, that is what i would do. But only the inputs.

What do you mean with "both Ends" - Input and output ?
I would connect the inputs together and use a pair of loudspakers at the outputs.

But, if you need the outputs to be Mono, i am clueless if it would be possible to
connect the left and right outputs parallel or in series. This depends on the output stages
of that amplifier.
