[sdiy] connection wire

As a true believer in über-diy, I have used telephone wire for years. 
However, because it is not stranded, it can be problematic if things
attached are to be moved often.  It comes in lots of color combinations
which can be advantageous for tracing things.  I get it free from the
usual places...
