Hey all,

I just had an experience that reminded me how
important it is to develop your resources. I need a
specific fastener: M3x0.5x20 flat head screws. Six of
them. Now I know I could get them from McMaster-Carr,
but I didn't need 100. 

Ah, but I have my trusty Ace Hardware store that I
foumd. They have two full aisles of fasteners and
hardware bits and pieces. Very nice. I've yet to go
there and not get what I needed. Needless to say they
had the screws I needed.

So the moral of the story is: develop resources.
