Another solution we did in our company is to use a light pen - a pen that has
the same
size as the standard plooter pens and a light conducting cable that has a strong
power
supply and halogen lamp inside. You plot the routes on a high contrast film in a
dark room
and you get a film for making hundreds of PCBs.
If anyone is interested I can make a photo of this light pen as I have one of
this (but not
using any longer).
