[sdiy] Simple sequencer links?

I am designing a simple sequencer/waveformer based on 4016/4066 and CD4022
CMOS technologies.

Before trying to reinvent the wheel, I figured I should do some
research...I know there must be a lot of designs out there already for
this....but a quick search of the DIY archives didn't reveal any
schematics I can study.

Can some of you point me to links so I can take a look (on your sites or
maybe others)?
