Here's an idea I wanted to throw out there: Digital delays in analog synths.

Some of the uses for a quadrature LFO could also be served (differently) by
an LFO plus one or more delayed signals from that LFO. Control is
conceptually different because you are dealing with, say, a 25 msec delay
between CV1 and CV2, rather than a 90-degree phase difference between CV1
and CV2.

An LFO into a multi-tapped digital delay with 2 or 3 differently delayed
outputs could be interesting. Adding regeneration would spice up the
waveforms in new ways, as would mixing the outputs of a quadrature osc.

A delayed envelope would also be useful, for another example. Delayed
triggers/gates would be nice, as well, but I think those can be done using
lag processors (right?).

We can't just take a standard DDL and run CVs through it, but I am unaware
of any digital delay synth modules. Blacet had the Time Machine analog
delay, but they are all out of stock (hopefully due to strong demand, and
perhaps due to unavailable BBD chips).

Is there any demand out there for a Digital Time Machine that could process
both audio and CV signals?
