When I commented on this idea earlier, I think I forgot to mention one
thing. The delayed control voltage coming out of a BBD will almost
certainly have some errors. I would probably not use this for a VCO pitch
control voltage. However, it might work fine for less critical things like
filter or envelope control.
Then again, maybe it would sound cool as a VCO pitch control--as a special
effect. Just don't be too surprised by any errors in the control voltage a
BBD would output.
Remember, as Harry would be quick to point out, they *are* lossy devices. :)
