[sdiy] mn3208 pinout - datasheet error alert!

Thanks for all the replies, guys!

OK, everyone with a Panasonic databook or the pdf version
of the datasheet take note:

The schematic of a reverb circuit on the last page (page
89) has some serious errors. Digikey has issued an update
correcting these errors, but has introduced one of their
own in the process.

The errors in the original schematic are as follows; pin 1
is connected to VDD instead of GND, pin 5 is connected to
GND instead of VDD, and the 100K resistors on output pins 3
& 4 are connected to VDD instead of GND.

The "corrected" digikey circuit mislabels the timing
resistor on the MN3102 as 33 ohms instead of 33K.

In addition, it was necessary to add 100K in series with
the distortion trim pot for correct operation, but this was
using the BL3208B and not the MN3208. Otherwise the circuit
functions as intended, although it's kinda noisy ;-)=. So
the BL3208B appears to be a good working replacement for
the MN3208, as advertised.

Take care,
Doug
