I think this depends on wether you power them from +15V to GND or from 
GND to -15V which would be the natural way for a PMOS device. The drain 
of a PMOS device is more negative than the source, so that Vdd is 
negative. And this is the convention used in the datasheets. Contrary to 
the usual CMOS convention.
