after doing much reading, and asking many people, i gave kenton a call to
follow up my email, and yes, now have on the way one of their last few oscar
midi boards, at a massive knock down on the old retail price, so, many
thanks
to kenton.

music control were most helpful too.  had a lot of time to talk to me, and
genuinely seemed to want to help, even though we're only talking pretty
cheap
pots and switches.  as a bonus theyre also pretty confident on being able to
supply a few switches and knobs for my powertran transcendent 2000.

thankyou to tony allgood (oakleysound) for recommending both.

basically, ive just spent a few days emailing and calling people, and have
been most impressed with the companies that ive dealt with.  im always
someone who treats commerce with some degree of suspicion, but on this
occasion, ive had truly good service from those that ive encountered.

i guess thats all i wanted to say. shall be fitting the midi to the old
oscar in the next few days.  hope all goes well
