In fact it's so nice to interface that I regularly use it
as a laboratory instrument (!) to test all my new electronic
projects. 3 Outputs and two inputs, in such a compact format.
When I test a new VCF, one audio output ofthe Synthi Clone
provides the VCF input signal, the "Scope" output provides
LFO and Envelope signals, and one of the signal inputs, patched
to the second output channel, is used as a monitor amp.
Many MOTM prototypes have run thru this quick setup for audio
and modulation test before they were thoroughly tested by
Synthtech with "real" lab equipment.

I found that I use the Synthi Clone as test gear more than for
making music ...

The only thing that is not so good for this is the relative
low signal level. Always needs a little boost before it
goes to the device under test.
