What I meant was that you don't have access to *all* the features at once, 
like you do on a real modular. I know the '3 is good for processing. What 
it's less good for is being plugged into a studio next to a Moog or 2600, 
followed by a cross-patching frenzy. You can get break out boxes for the 
patch panel, but the voltage levels and (lack of) impedance matching make 
using it like that a performance.

Unlike - say - putting an ASM-1 next to an MOTM, which will most likely 
work just fine.
