I make mine in Corel Draw, which are then exported as HPGL files which can
be loaded into FPDesigner.

Hey--here's an idea: how about a "catalogue" of scales?  I could add my
one to the list.

Suggestions:

1) submit:     	HPGL file for importing
		native file (CDR,WMF,etc)
		small thumbnail (100x100 pixels) in GIF, B&W

2) place a small cross-hair at the centre of the scale to aid aligning
with the panel hole/centre of control

3) do not put text or figures on the scale, only markings and graphics

Would this be useful to people??
