How about a rotary switch that lets you cancel as many voices as you
want? It would be so easy to do -- simply short the voice output to
ground somewhere before where the voices are summed together. It
could be done with a rotary switch, individual toggles, or with fancy-
schmancy electronic switching.
I hate the sound of big polysynth unison mode. Who can ever use that
in actual music? Certainly not me. It instantly destroys any type
of decent bass sound, that's for sure, and for lead sounds, it's way
too big, messy, and obnoxious, like a drunken guest at a party who
talks too loud and too close to your face.
