True, but acoustic instruments will produce harmonics well above the fundamental tones in 
their playing range. To me, the 259e always sounded a bit dull in the high end compared to 
other modular oscs I own. It didn't seem to have the same sparkle. I now wonder if it's 
because of the smaller frequency range. But I think we're straying from the original post 
which I believe is to get a technical answer as to why higher frequencies are not possible on 
the 259e and 261e.
