While we're discussing it, I think it is worth noting that virtually all of the Easel's features are present in 200e series modules. I think the only missing feature is reverb. I've patched up all of the examples from PAMTEO on my 200e. I'm not interested at all in a 208e re-issue or work-a-like. That said, I do agree that an 8PU or 6PU portable system with a wealth of programming resources and touch plate control is highly desirable. 200e features I find indespensible are (all of equal weight): Uncertainty Arbitrary Functions Patch Saving Quadrature envelopes Every Feature of the 259e Sample & Hold (ala bottm section of 266e) Pulse Division Audio Signal modulation of the 291e Touch Control Flexible voltage control routing I can achieve various subsets of those features in 8PU by sacrificing Mixer and Touch Control, but like most people, I want it all dammit!!! :-) --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, luther rochester <lrochester@...> wrote: > > Chris Muir wrote: > > What are the reasons people would like to see a 208e?
