My systems are insured for traveling, so that's not as bad as you would think. I have been lucky checking mine in so far, the only bad thing that happened once was that one of the cables connecting the boats came unplugged, so one row wasn't turning on .Needless to say i pooped in my pants a little, but i was able to fix it right away.
