Thanks, Barry. Fortunately, Jon at B&A was able to overnight me a new, more robust power supply, and with that in place, it appears that my 200e didn't suffer any internal damage from its trauma. (I particularly want to thank Jon for getting it out to me so promptly - he really saved me in this crisis.) And I've finally gotten my studio aired out as well - burning capacitors really smell rank. As for the tutorial, I've taken the first steps with that in a new analog synthesis series that will be going live any day now on macProVideo.com, called Analog Synthesis in a Digital World. Two-thirds of the series takes place in virtual analog synths, but the first hour or so is all 200e. That part is very basic and introductory, and probably not what you're looking for, but it's a start, and there may well be more installments in the series down the road. In the meantime, you can see me building my master performance patch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K7REkN2Kjo > > Wow, I hope you get up and running in time and your performance goes well. Maybe something like you did for the Jordan Rudess Online Conservatory, which was excellent. I think it would be good for people who may not otherwise get the chance to dig in to 200e modules. Personally, I would love to see how you would build a 200e patch from scratch! > > -Barry Richard Lainhart http://www.otownmedia.com http://www.downloadplatform.com/richard_lainhart http://www.vimeo.com/rlainhart http://www.youtube.com/rlainhart http://richardlainhart.bandcamp.com/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
