I can't answer the second question, but I can tell you that the LED gooseneck lamps on my system are manufactured by e-ray, a Hong-Kong-based company, and distributed by JR Electrical, based in Taiwan. They make several different models, but the one you want is the JL-902 from this page: http://www.av-jr.com/Process?tag=prod_show_product&prod_key=75262 which uses a standard 12-volt BNC power connector.
