Re: Speakers for 200e ?

2013-04-04 by polivoks

Helo,

a nice opportunity to introduce myself in this group, I have just joined -- must admit that I am still waiting for the delivery of a used 200e, but I do have some experience with Bose speakers -- a smaller footprint version though.

I am using the Companion 2, small multimedia speakers. They are very nice to work with -- but color the sound considerably. Everything sounds very *nice* -- and the low end is muddy as described.

the bigger speakers might behave differently, but I believe that Bose in general are known to make everything sound better -- which might not always be the best solution for mixing, although jamming is a totally different story...

just my experience, hope this helps you get a broader picture...

Kai
