In my opinion the 259e is a very good complement to the 261e. I think it will be missed. The 259e sure can be harshly digital sounding but it can be very sweet too, it a way the 261e can't. A wavetable editing feature would make it even more attractive. The audio rate FM quality could perhaps be increased with better AD conversion and/or internal processor. 259eb ?
