I have not received my system yet but I specifically asked Don about dorsal fins hitting faces before I sent my $$ and I was assured that the resolution within the various modules will be able to handle the nuances of that specific?timbre. He even went to so far as to discuss tentacles flapping testicles as well and I for one am just itching to get that sound right...my Serge just can't capture the tentacles part...close but no cigar.
