How is the software updated?

Hi folks, Can someone please explain just how one updates the 200e's software? Is a 225e midi decoder required? I have a bare bones system at the moment, but I'd like to make sure I have the latest software for my 259e. It exhibits a couple quirks: Warp control has two very obvious steps at 3 and 7; both oscs show little if any change in frequency below 9 o'clock and above 3 o'clock. I read at buchla.com that the software is installed using a small card, but that's about all I know. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
