As we age the top end of our hearing falls off; it gets harder to
hear the luscious aliasing of the 259e.

Much better to see this guy brought back than that hissy, noisy thing (just my opinion, people). It kinda' reminded me of the Roland MT32 (remember this one?).
Oh, and how much effort would it take to just bring back the 259? No e. Just that 2-module size square of analog goodness.
