How are you using the 210e Router?

How are you using the 210e Router?

2006-05-05 by Chris Muir

Are you using the 210 with a fixed set of connections as a "base" to
build patches on top of, or are you repatching through it freely as
you need attenuation & mixing?

I don't have my system yet, so this cannot be taken as a considered
opinion, but I would think that having a base set of connection that
defines some of your palette patched into the 210e might be a good
way to approach it. This way presets become a little more meaningful,
I think.

The way I use it, especially the audio side of it, is to have all my
oscillator outs (including sine waves) fed into it. That means four
inputs for each oscillator (261e, of course). You can program
different presets that define how much of each you want in your patch.
With this set up, you never have to be moving patch cords around.
Problem is you need two 210e's if you plan to have a 4-vco system.

And oh, while I have your attention, guys: I REALLY need to get rid of
my 259e, so I'm offering it for $700 plus S/H. NO LESS.
