I do not have a 225e yet, but am thinking about getting one for my 250e.
What is the best way to sync up a drum machine with the 250e?

use a note-on pulse from the 225e. unless you can tease some kind of analog
pulse out of your drum machine and step it up to 8.5v.

i've seen someone use the clap on a 707 as a master pulse for some
stuff that included 200 equipment.
