my new 200e

well kids, I received my 200e and am totally thrilled. It is an amazing synthesizer and suits
my approach to electroinc music. I found it very 'intuitive" to use as well. And I already
need more patchcords!

I was in Californai and so got it directly from DB. he was very accomodating in terms of
my odd schedule.

I got the 12-boat system with 10 panels filled. also have on order CynthiaWebster's
version of Buchla osillator so that wil only leave enuf room for one more.

Anyway, FYI, My system has:

- 2 cpmplex waveform generators
- source of uncertainty (really cool module)
- quad function generator
- quad dynamics manager
- arbitrary function generator
- triple morphing filrt
- system interface

ALSO, heer are my tips for contacting Don, since some people apparently have had
difficulties;
- call and leave phone message if he doesn't answer. it's that simple.

cheers all

I would LOVE to hear some samples of your first experiments... Some of us
need to live vicariously... ;)

Also, since you have one of the latest to roll off the line, I'm curious to
know if there have been any improvements to the 261e's behavior as discussed
last week on this list or if there are any other changes or enhancements
you're able to discern.

Thanks!
Matt

hey Matt, thanks for encouragement, I would have to figure out how to
record off (or on) computer but I did get some nice ambient drones
happening .

the 261 seems fine. I'm not a musician so wasn't looking for critical
sound criteria, any loss the contrilof control is a bummer

I love this thing already -- it seems to have so many layers of sound-
creation.

if you have the money and want a great little machine - I say 'got
for it' !
