Re: how do i install and execute a program? but please step by step...

2008-06-07 by Brad Pollard

Hello,
This calculator's learning curve is steep... =)
so I am trying to install this program:
http://www.hpcalc.org/details.php?id=4394
the 2KX version has a 'program' file of *.hp
so what do I do? I tried moving the file from my SD card to the HOME
directory.
so when I go to the Home Directory, I have a "FORMO" button (but
along with several more, inculing 'Start', 'IOPAR', 'PPAR', and then
another directory 'CASDI'.

any ways, pressing FORMO only brings up "Library 1010: FORM..." onto
the stack.
Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? I wish there was a awy to
attach small docs to these posts, but if you download the program
there is a nice PDF that details what you should be getting (but I'm
not).

Lastly, is there an easy way to change directories up a level
(without going to the Files buttom)?
thanks guys,
brad
