Hello, This calculator's learning curve is steep... =) so I am trying to install this program: http://www.hpcalc.org/details.php?id=4394 the 2KX version has a 'program' file of *.hp so what do I do? I tried moving the file from my SD card to the HOME directory. so when I go to the Home Directory, I have a "FORMO" button (but along with several more, inculing 'Start', 'IOPAR', 'PPAR', and then another directory 'CASDI'. any ways, pressing FORMO only brings up "Library 1010: FORM..." onto the stack. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? I wish there was a awy to attach small docs to these posts, but if you download the program there is a nice PDF that details what you should be getting (but I'm not). Lastly, is there an easy way to change directories up a level (without going to the Files buttom)? thanks guys, brad --- In 50g@yahoogroups.com, "Charles Chindenga" <cfortuh@...> wrote: > > > To execute a program on SD card just type > :3:NAME OF PROGRAM > Then press EVAL > > - original message - > Subject: Re: [50g] how do i install and execute a program? but please step by step... > From: Dave Boyd <boydda@...> > Date: 23/05/2008 18:36 > > tooshorttoremain wrote: > > i have found many info on the net but neither worked. i have put the > > file on an sd. and then i copy it to the port 2. then i soft reset it ( > > i press on and f3 together). and it is attached . i got it till now, > > but how do i run the program. is there an execute button im missing? > > One thing about the HP-50G: there are a lot of modes and settings and > different ways to do things that will affect how you do things.
