50g

have you checked your flag settings on the 50g?
my flags are set as:
34 -  print via wire
35 - ASCII transfer 

Also, you must use the same usb connection that you first installed the connectivity software otherwise it doesn't recogmize it.

Don't use any hubs.
Try each USB port on the system.
