Do not confuse Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) and Algebraic modes of entry and notation with the Computer Algebra System (CAS) that facilitates symbolic mathematics. Although I would not miss algebraic entry mode if it were not present on my 49g/49g+/50g, their utility would definitely be crippled without a CAS. Anyone who knows better or can state this more clearly is welcome to step in and correct, expound on, and/or clarify what I'm trying to say here.
