Okay, so I have the calculator connected via Xmodem. The connectivity kit is connected and I can see the directories and variables within the HP (I'm also able to send commands to the HP via CK). However, I'm unable to upload/download any files (I'm trying to upload the NeoPolys library). All four of the upload/download options under the File menu in the connectivity kit are "greyed out" and not accessable. *confused* TIA ~S

Drag the NeoPolys file from elsewhere (that is, another folder on your computer) and drop it in this pane. This should transmit it to your calc. After disconnecting, use the FILER (or other means -- I like Prof. Rautenberg's Filer6 myself) to move the file to port 2, that is, FLASH. Use ON-C to reboot the calc, and the library should attach automatically. You should then be able to access it via RS-2, the LIB menu. (Alternatively you could use << 1494 TMENU >>. I have that little program stored in a MATH directory under HOME.) Good luck. PS. Also, note that for the ROM menu of the Connectivity Kit to be enabled, you have to specify a USB connection instead of Auto Connect -- I mention this because it isn't obvious, and I needed to remember this today to install a new ROM image... -- Dave Boyd

Worked great! I was able to get the Bode-Routh lib installed, too. Now if I could only remember how to do that stuff... ~Shawn
