RE: [68300] P&E BDM wiggler

2003-05-28 by Batke, Keith

I added two PCI parallel ports to a desktop last December.
I couldn't get them to work and when I finally asked P&E for help...

They sent me a (FREE) updated version of their software that has an "Add
PCI port" executable.
Your PC-Card may be hardware compatible but I bet it's not using legacy
address/IRQ.

Subject: [68300] P&E BDM wiggler

Has anyone had problems getting a P&E BDM wiggler (parallel port)
to work on a laptop computer using a parallel port adapter?

New laptops these days don't have "real" parallel ports these days so
I had to get a PC-Card parallel port adapter.

The adapter says that it is 1284 compatible. It does communicate
with a printer. The P&E software will not recognize the target
system. Worked on my old laptop just fine.

Ideas?
