M*CORE

M*CORE

2006-01-27 by Zoltán Kócsi

It's not really a 683xx chip, however, would anyone know if there's a
debugger for that beast on Linux that can work with ELF files?

The gdb people deleted the mcore target, even though gcc/binutils works
fine. Old gdb versions usually can't understand modern gcc ELF-s, so
although I'll try to install some old version of gdb, I don't have too
high hopes with that regard.

If someone knows an alternative free (as in boith ways) debugger
that does support mcore or for which it is simpler to create a port
than for gdb, I'd be glad to get any pointers.

Thanks,

Zoltan
