Flash program tool for 68332

Flash program tool for 68332

2002-06-28 by guido de cuyper

dear list members,
we have a client with some technicians in the field, updating firmware trough
the BDM interface via parallel port of a PC.
Problem is the (portable) PC combination in the field, we are looking for a
serial RS232 solution to connect eg to a PSION handheld, or a standalone
solution wich can acces the 68332 and program flash through BDM.Any
suggestions?

Guido:

Your best bet is to go to P&E Microcomputer Systems( http://www.pemicro.com ). They have a serial cable and SW the will do the same thing as the parallel version.

Guido:

You are correct. Sorry about the confusion. You are going to have to use our SDIL product. The part number is M68SDIL. It will not longer be available after 11/02. The SW needed is SDBUG32. It comes with the programming SW and a debugger. Contact your local distributor for pricing and availability, but before you buy the SW let me know what they say. I may be able to help you without spending any unnecessary money on SW. You will definately need the SDIL cable. This does reqiure the 10 pin BDM header just like the parallel versions.
