This is incorrect. AN1xEdit was ported to OS 9 _years_ ago and works well to this day within Classic under OS X. Both the PLG150-AN Editor and AN200 Editor (functionaly identical, for the most part) also work within Classic under OS X. You do need to install OMS under Classic and you must have a USB MIDI Interface that has a USB driver supported under OS 9 for this to work. I've used both an Emagic MT4 and MIDIMAN UNO successfully for this. > > So you're more or less out of luck. There is a *beta* of SoundDiver native to OS X, but I've found SysEx dumps too the AN1x unreliable (see previous threads.) There is an OS X native version of Sound Quest too, and there is a demo for download, but I did not feel it was cost effective for me as I've so few hardware synths/samplers at this point. > > I gave up and bought a $400 Toshiba laptop just so I could run the PLG > editor (my other computers are Macs running OS X)...pathetic but it was > that or no editing at all. That's a workable solution too! Jon
