Re: [AN1x] Synchronization problem

2006-10-12 by Ondrash Daree

Hello John.
Thank you for your answer. Voice Common I exactly use... I have a MIDI
Interface from MOTU MidiTimepiece AV (connected via Parallel Port)
on a second port. I tried to connect AN1x directly to MIDI
ports, which are on my sound card (EMU-1820). I tried AN1x with my friend in
his studio. The problem still persists. I don't have a problem with "catch
up" synchronization. But stay in sync. Synchronization is loosing often during
two bars. I mean that is happen when leds blinked brightly on the panel.. I cant
quit say if it is a new
problem because I didnt use synchronization before.

Any another
idea?

Thank you so much.

Under the VOICE COMMON menu, set Tempo to MIDI to synchronize the

Arp/Seq to MIDI Clock from your sequencer. If your suffering from

drift, try beginning the sequencer a measure or two earlier to allow

time for the AN1x to 'catch up' and stay in sync.

If you are using a multi-port MIDI Interface with many devices, I'd

suggest you move the AN1x to a higher number port to avoide any

delay resulting from MIDI slop.

Jon
