You can clean it by yourself, or even replace it if necessary if you have some basic electronics DIYer experience. Be careful with the lot of screws in the plastic case and with the keyboard connectors. During the operation you can check the small diode (1N 4148 style) wired to the key contact, i don't think it is the cause of your problem but who knows ? Most diode failures are short circuits, not open circuit... Cheers. J.F.
