Re: [AN1x-list] Anyone else going for "Progressive Rock" sounds?

2001-10-26 by Blades

You are not alone. I am not doing any prog rock type stuff, though I can
enjoy it once in a while (in the stylings of Kevin Gilbert)...have you heard
"Spock's Beard"? Anyway...

I am primarily looking at sounds for pop/80s/electronic (mixed in with
rock...not the electronica that's poular now - Think: "Blinded me with
Science"), etc...

I have no examples to offer you at the moment, as none of my tunes has
actually included the plg150-AN yet. I am doing a cover tune of Roger
Taylor's (Queen's drummer) from his solo album in 1987-ish called "Killing
Time"...big synth orchestra thingy in the middle...sweet. Lots of loopbacks
to do this one right.
