The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi,
When using An1xEdit with cubase 5.1.,and yes my setup is correct according to Yamaha,when I select a voice in AN1x and record it as Midi in Cubse5,Then hit playback to here whats been recorded,fine.
However,sometimes I have to  reselect the voice to here the midi part play back? or else i just get a basic piano sound on the midi part?I keep on loosing the anx1 voice and any tweeks i have made to it,resulting in me going through laborious task of selecting the voice again and tweeking its parameters to play back the recorded midi part again.
And yes I do have midi filter sysex ticked and sysex rec unticked.
Any advice would be most welcome.
