Hi DMAX,

I presume you are using a PLG150AN board on an SW1K?

If you song contains an XG reset, then it will reset the AN part back to
XG usage. Hence you hear piano instead of you're an voice.

Going back to An1xEdit and doing a Utils menu Refresh synth will resend
the info to set the part back to AN usage.

However if you want to embed the part allocation into the song, then add
sysex of the following form after any XG setup data and before the AN
voice dump.

F0 43 10 4C 70 tt nn  pp F7
Where:

tt 	The board type (for PLG150AN this value is 03)
nn 	Board number: some devices support multiple PLG boards. This
value indicates which board is being addressed (for SW1K it should be
00).
pp 	Part number: 00 - 0F represents parts A1 - A16, a value of 7F
indicates no part is used (the board is disabled). E.g for part 1 use
00.

Hi,
When using An1xEdit with cubase 5.1.,and yes my setup is correct
according to Yamaha,when I select a voice in AN1x and record it as Midi
in Cubse5,Then hit playback to here whats been recorded,fine.
However,sometimes I have to  reselect the voice to here the midi part
play back? or else i just get a basic piano sound on the midi part?I
keep on loosing the anx1 voice and any tweeks i have made to
it,resulting in me going through laborious task of selecting the voice
again and tweeking its parameters to play back the recorded midi part
again.
And yes I do have midi filter sysex ticked and sysex rec unticked.
Any advice would be most welcome.
