FWIW, AN1x SysEx data is sizable and the AN1x can be overrun when receiving a bulk dump. This is not uncommon but the fact that you're having such difficulties so frequently might indicate a problem with your MIDI Interface. I'd suggest you try sending a 1/3 of a voice set at a time, i.e., voices 1-32, then 33-64,etc., simply to determine whether they'll tranfer reliably. Also, many soundsets - user sound sets, specifically - normally contain fewer voices then the Yamaha voice sets. Since there is less data to transfer it stand to reason there would be fewer overrun errors. Perhaps you should try a few along the same lines - to determine how prone your MIDI Interface is to bottlenecking. > When sending data around the three LED's are flashing a bit.
