Hello! I have noticed similar problems from my AN-200, purchased very recently. I also feel that it might be sounding a bit muddy, like D/A converters would be worse quality, but I dont really have a change to do a honest compairing. Anyway, sound is quite digital, it is lacking some analog softness, even sine sounds a bit sharp. I have a Waldorf 4-pole filter, I use via AUX to soften AN-200 sharpness. I dont use cutoff, I just direct part of AN-200 sound via Waldorf, to fatten and soften it up. -Mikko >-- Original Message -- >To: AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com >From: "spaceanimals" <alciere@midmaine.com> >Date: Fri, 05 Jul 2002 22:35:31 -0000 >Subject: [AN1x] high frequency eq >Reply-To: AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com > > >I've read several reviews of the AN1X that complained about the >glassiness and the lack of warmth with the AN1X.
