hi peter,

that's not really bass. it's more of a lead synth
sound. it's known as the hoover sound. it's made best
with the roland alpha (i think?).

i made a hoover patch for the plg150an  and it should
be in the files section somewhere. you got to play
around with it to get the pitch envelope you want.
